DANIEL CAPALBO, JR. (Some Boys) has been writing since he was a boy. He used to be a person who never went anywhere without a pen in his pocket but thankfully Apple made the I-Phone so now he just uses the notes app. His wife Donna is grateful to Apple as well because the house remains much neater without all those slips of paper with various notes written on them. Though if truth be told - there are still paper notes that appear now and then. But the arguments about what happened to that wrapper or grocery receipt that was on the table last night have stopped. No it wasn’t garbage! Couldn’t you see that it was written on? Thanks I-Phone. Though if you ask if anyone has a pen, he will still pull one out of his pocket. 

 

ANGELA CERRITO (When Guys Talk) is an author and a playwright whose work focuses on issues of identity. Her latest novel, The Safest Lie, was named a best book of the year by The Guardian and a Notable Social Studies Book for Young Readers. JORDAN ELIZABETH HENRY  (A Little Thing) is a playwright currently living and working in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Her short plays have been produced throughout North America, most notably in Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, New York, Toronto, and Vancouver, B.C. She is a co-editor for Code Red Playwrights, a collective of playwrights creating short plays to honor every modern incidence of mass casualty gun violence in the United States. FRANCES RORKE (That's All There is Folks) There are three kinds of people in life: the checker players and the chess players. The checkers see everything in black and red, forward and backward. Everything is measured in losses and acquisitions. The chess player, on the other hand, has quite a repertoire , a quick wit and an adaptability, the skilled ones inventing a finite set of rules and maneuvers seemingly unpredictable and limitless. The third, you don't meet too often and even if you do their subterfuge avoids detection-- these players are off the board, play by nobody's' rules and it's anyone's guess from moment to moment just what game they're playing. Number in this lot the insane, the genius, the saints and the sociopaths ... Rorke is one, or all of the above.

JACK RUSHEN (The Audition) recently won first place in the Julie Harris Playwriting competition for Image, which has now been seen around the country. His second play, Taming the Lion won a generous grant from the the Arch and Bruce Brown Foundation. This is the true story of the contentious relationship between movie mogul Louis B. Mayer, and the first openly gay star, William Haines. It is currently being developed at the Berkshire Theatre Festival.

FRANK TANGREDI  (Tip) is the author of Lifeline (Abingdon Theatre Company), God, Sex, and Getting Even (Greenhouse Ensemble). Pastoral (Christopher Brian Wolk Award), and Galatea (LA Weekly Theatre Award nominee for Best Playwriting; New York Fringe Festival.) His play Extracurricular was published in Best Ten-Minute Plays of 2012. His most recent credit was Dads, Dates, and Other Disturbances, a program of short plays and films produced in Manhattan by the Greenhouse Ensemble.

SARA RADEMACHER is a freelance director and a Co-Founder of Elements Theatre Collective.  Sara is dedicated to creating theatre to engage her community both locally and globally. RAN XIA is an interdisciplinary theatre artist.
