Brandon Bogenschutz is a Wisconsin native currently based in NYC, where he works as an actor, writer, and comedian. After graduating in 2016 from UW-Stevens Point with a BFA in Acting, he lived and worked abroad while writing poetry and drama. This is his first time working with The Alternative Theater Company and is grateful to be involved with such thematically impactful work.

Sommer Carbuccia is happy be joining The Alternative Theater Company for their Altered Minds readings. He has most recently seen on episodes of Grey's Anatomy and NCIS: New Orleans. He also played Max Out in the most recent workshop production of the new musical Other World, and Kyle in the world premier of the play Paper Cut. Live, Love, Lake.

PAULINE CHALAMET (Max)

Pauline Chalamet is a French/American actress. She graduated from LaGuardia High School in 2010 before attending Bard College where she studied Political Studies and Theater & Performance. This year she is graduating from l’ESCA (Ecole Supérieure de Comédiens par l’Alternance), a national apprentice company based in Paris, France.

JOHN DEFILIPPO (Rigel)

John DeFilippo is an actor, director and playwright with a BA from Queens College in Theatre. He has acted/directed shows at EastLine Theatre, Hudson Guild Theatre and Manhattan Rep. Roles include Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (George), An Octoroon (Assistant) and Twelfth Night (Sir Andrew). This is his first Equity show, first post-graduation show and first time working with Alternative Theatre Company. Thank you to Bill for the opportunity to present this touching work!

NICOLE FLENDER* (Dawn)

Nicole Flender started performing at the age of nine with the New York City Ballet at Lincoln Center.  She graduated from the High School of Performing Arts and Yale University. She performed in New York, regionally and on tour in such shows as A Chorus Line, Fiddler on the Roof, Gypsy and Hello Dolly. Nicole was directed by Celine Havard in Angela Kay Harbanks for the Greenhouse Ensemble. She last appeared in the play Can You Hear Me Now, directed by Jean Tait, as part of the #metoo plays. She is married to Marc Chalamet and is the mother of Pauline and Timothée.

MIEKO GAVIA (Courtney)

Mieko Gavia is a writer, actress, and all-around oddball from Indianapolis, Indiana.  After graduating from Oberlin College with a degree in Theater, Mieko followed the classic scenario of a small-town girl with big-city dreams and hightailed it to NYC. When she’s not acting, writing, or co-running Black Revolutionary Theatre Workshop, Mieko can be spotted foraging in used bookstores or wherever cheap food abounds. Logann Grayce is so excited to be making their acting debut with the Alternative Theater Company   They are an NYC based Actor and are no stranger to screen and stage. You may have seen them on several of the shows that shoot here in New York City.  They have a BFA in Acting from Montclair State University. They most recently appeared on stage in Season 6 of NSPF.

Suzette Azariah Gunn is an actress, writer, director from New York. She has a degree in acting from Howard University, Oxford University. and has starred and guest starred on television, film and Theater across the US. NICK NAZARIO  is new talent from Peekskill NY, proudly performing his second piece  with The Alternative Theater Company after playing “Froggie” in JUMP last month. Currently he is a performing arts student at Westchester Community College who has recently appeared in the college's musical production of Grease. Nick has also studied acting under Stephan Singer, Anthony Gillan and Sidse Ploug at The Barrow Group. When he's not clowning around Nick enjoys singing and sewing costumes. Sometimes at the same time.

ROBERTA PIKSER* (Celeste)

ROBERTA PIKSER started performing with Erika Thimey’s Dance Theatre of Washington, D. C.  In New York, she worked with Chuck Davis, Eleo Pomare and various children’s theatre groups.  She was a recipient of a federal CETA grant and performed a one woman show of poetry and dance in hospitals and nursing homes throughout NYC.  Acting credits include the Negro Ensemble Company, the Delaware Theatre Company, the Halfpenny Playhouse of Kearney, New Jersey, and Stage Center and the Fan Theatre Company in Richmond, VA.   Ms. Pikser was Assistant Professor of Theatre at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she taught Movement for Actors, and she has taught in Nicaragua, Colombia, and Cuba. She has coached for H. T. Chen and Dancers and worked as a program auditor for the New York State Council on the Arts.

Gabriella Scerbo is currently a student at Pace University in NYC as a Communication Studies major and Arts and Entertainment Management minor. She is SAG-AFTRA and EMC. Gabriella has worked on many film and television projects as well as equity and community theater. BARRY W. SCOTT (Sean)

Barry Scott first met director Bill Roudebush at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and is delighted to be working with him again and especially with The Alternative Theater Company and Altered Minds. Favorites include: Patch in Sprindrift, Pippin’s The Leading Player, Juror 8 in Twelve Angry Men also with Vincent Pastore, Brian in The Day They Shot John Lennon, Donald on ABC’s All My Children, Law & Order, The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd. He spent a few decades as senior theatre adjudicator for the State of New Jersey’s Teen Arts Program and directed/produced numerous short films including Clear Cut starring Calista Flockhart, T.V. series Bottled-Up (still in development) and the musical Atlanticus.  His passion for film-making has recently taken to new heights as an F.A.A. Certified Drone Pilot for film, travel videography, and search and rescue.

Jillie Simon began in theater, working with luminaries such as Marlo Thomas (Cleveland Playhouse) and Marian Seldes (Stage-Plays TheaterCo), in Tony & Tina’s Wedding and at the Public Theater. Film includes A Beautiful Mind by Ron Howard, indie feature Confess (Melissa Leo) and most recently, The Incoherents (Amy Carlson) - currently in the festival circuit - as are 2 shorts she produced/co-directed - multi-award-winning Hungry, co-starring Eric Roberts, and A Chance. Jillie's also performed improv and sketch comedy at UCB.

Genevieve Trapani has been a devoted participant in various disciplines of theater and the arts since her conception. As a member of a family with deep ties in the theater community, she was constantly surrounded by creativity. Ms. Trapani began acting in elementary school and continued throughout high school. Ms. Trapani's latest performances were as Hortense in The Baker’s Wife with Ensemble Theatre Community School and as Kim in Bye Bye Birdie. She was pleased to be involved as a stagehand in the Off-Off Broadway production of As You Like It with Alexa Kelly and the Pulse Ensemble Theatre. Genevieve also worked with the Alternative Theater Co. on The #metoo Plays. She is excited to participate with the company on another project!

"Ra"  Weir is grateful to be a part of an Alternative Theatre Company production.  This will be his first performance since returning from Japan, where he performed extensively with the Tokyo International Players (TIP) theatre group. Previous roles include playing Jim in Big River, Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd, Pozzo in Waiting For Godot, and as Hoss in the Tokyo Artistic Theatre Ensemble original production of Free At Last.
